Rainy Sunday [Runday]
I woke up to the sound of rain pounding against my bedroom window. Trees rustling as gusts of wind blew their limbs from side to side. The air felt cold as I snuggled deeper into my bed. How easy it would be to close my eyes and go back to sleep.
Instead, I dragged myself out of bed and joined the Mile End Miles crew for a fresh Sunday run. We ran in the mountain, squishy wet leaves beneath our feet. It was cold and wet, but the energy of this community warms the soul.
And guess what? My lazy Sunday was still ready for me when I got home.
