Fun Run in the Snow
Time to have some fun! ☃️
I checked the weather this morning and was scared; -12°C, -20 with the windchill. We get colder temperatures than this in the winter (look out, February!), but we’ve been blessed with warmer weather so far. I threw on some wind-resistant pants, my thickest merino base layer, and cinched the hood of my jacket. Trail shoes to tackle the snow, and I was good to go.
In the end, it was a very pleasant run. One of my favourite expressions as a runner is “there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad gear.” No excuse to get out there and have some fun!
