INJURY RECOVERY PROGRESS REPORT:

26 weeks since I sprained my ankle.
13 weeks since I started seeing a physiotherapist and an osteopath.
7 weeks since I started returning to running.

I have been slowly but surely progressing through my run/walk injury recovery program, and it feels GREAT. I had a minor setback a couple weeks ago, which was a reality check more than anything else. No matter what level you are, the key to training is to be in tune with your body above all else. Ego has no place in this process. I took a few days off, then modified my program to build up even more slowly than it already was. An 8 week program will look more like 10-12, but I'm totally fine with that.

I've got miles of road ahead of me, and nothing but time.
