Christmas is for Cookies

Merry Christmas, fam! Enjoy all the love from your friends and family, and all the Christmas baking your belly can handle.

As for me, I’m on day 4 of eating cookies and other goodies all day every day. Food around the holidays used to be something that caused me a great deal of stress (fighting the urge to overeat OR feeling guilty for indulging), but I’ve changed my mindset in recent years. Holidays are a time to enjoy yourself, and sometimes a few extra cookies are a part of that. Until this becomes my every day habit, I don’t feel the need to worry about the extra weight gained over the holidays. It’ll be gone as quickly as it came.
