Injury Recovery: Upcoming 10K Race

🚨THREE WEEKS until the Scotia21kMTL race weekend!🚨

After some consideration (and some poll results!), I decided to sign up for the 10K distance. This will be my first race since being injured, and I am so excited to feel the energy of all the other runners around me.

Today my Sunday Runday consisted of a 7k run. I was admittedly a bit nervous for this run. The last time I attempted this training program this was the precise run that pushed my ankle over the edge and set my recovery back 2 months. I was so happy to finish the run strong and pain free. The road to recovery isn’t easy, but it feels SO good to be on it!

Will I see you on race day? What’s your favourite race distance?
