Tiny Intervals

TINY runs can still be SIGNIFICANT runs.

3 intervals. 10 seconds run, 50 seconds walk.
Hardly worth recording.
But it’s still a milestone, after months on the bench.

RECOVERY IS SLOW AND THAT’S OKAY.

Trust your recovery. Trust that the downtime is worth something. Trust that your 30 non-consecutive seconds of slow jogging is worth something. Progress is slow, but it’s progress nonetheless. I’m freeing myself of all expectations that this recovery will go in a straight line. I feel good today but I may not tomorrow, and that’s okay. I am reminding myself that two steps forward and one step back still means I’m MOVING FORWARD.

This is how the comeback starts.
